In the realm of adult entertainment, where fantasies manifest on screen, there’s a group of backstage heroes ensuring that every moment is not only scorching but also safe and consensual. One of them is me! Danae – the production operations manager dedicated to accentuating the positive, especially when it revolves around the pivotal three-letter word: Yes.
The Journey of “The Yes List”
Remember those old “No” lists?
Well, at Adult Time, we decided it was time for a paradigm shift. Introducing “The Yes List,” a revolutionary concept that doesn’t just talk about consent but actively champions it on set.
From the early days of “We Like Girls” to the enlightening “She Wants Him,” my team and I have been on a mission to transform the industry, one YES at a time. Why the change, you ask? Because we recognized that consent isn’t about unilateral decisions; it’s about mutual respect and empowerment.
Lights, Camera, CONSENT!
Picture this: Seth and Ryan, on the brink of passion until a revelation about Ryan’s online presence alters the course. Instead of assumptions, Seth learns the value of communication and boundaries, leading to a night of fiery passion fueled by consent.
Then there’s Codey and Vanna, a couple reigniting their flame through conversation, discovering the joy of intimacy once more. But it’s not just established couples benefiting from communication. Nathan and Aiden, strangers connected by a hookup app, show us that even casual encounters thrive on mutual respect and communication.
And let’s not overlook Jane, Isaiah, Oliver, and Kenna, exploring new territory together through honest dialogue and mutual agreement.
Those are all fictional examples lifted from our own series called “The Yes List” but that could apply to both real-life experiences and on-set ones.

While the chemistry on screen is undeniable amongst performers, it’s what happens behind the scenes that truly distinguishes “The Yes List.”
My team and I truly believe communication is paramount when crafting authentic and arousing content and it is highly important for us that performers aren’t just willing but eager to play their role.
