Today, we released the latest episode of our How She Reacts docu-sex series! This episode was filmed back in February 2024 and has been waiting in the queue all year while we focused on releasing other gonzo and all-sex projects. Chanel has had quite a year since this shoot, but let me take you back to where it all started.

Fresh off her well-deserved “Best New Starlet” win at the 2024 AVNs, this was the first time Chanel and I had seen each other since her big victory. I had been a big advocate for her throughout her grind the previous year, so it was great to reconnect. How She Reacts is all about showcasing women who genuinely enjoy the sex acts they perform, and Chanel’s love for anal made her a perfect fit. When we asked her who she’d like to work with, Seth was high on her list. He’s a go-to performer for me, especially for anal scenes which can be tricky to shoot. With performers often fasting for up to 24 hours beforehand, timing and efficiency are key to keeping everyone’s energy up and ensuring they get fed right afterward (I remember it being a big burrito!)
I also had another agenda for the day. I wanted to chat with Chanel about her goals for the new year to see if there was a good fit for her with Adult Time. During lunch, she mentioned wanting to slow down, be more selective with her projects, and explore more acting roles—especially features. When I asked which directors she’d love to work with, she immediately mentioned Casey Calvert, a fellow performer-turned-director whom she deeply respects. I couldn’t help but smile—Casey was already set to write and direct our Girlsway feature in the spring, and I knew Chanel would be the perfect lead.
So, that day, Chanel delivered an incredible authentic anal scene and landed the lead role in SPUN. Talk about a memorable shoot!
As for the scene itself, the day went incredibly smoothly. We started with a short intro interview where Seth asked Chanel about her love of anal, followed by some “cute” social media-friendly photos (seen above). For shoots like this, we often ask performers to strike a mix of safe yet sensual poses, which can lead to lots of laughter. Chanel’s playfulness, including a little moment of prayer, was adorable.
Next came the consent meeting and sex prep, which shall remain our little secret. Then it was time for the main event. Chanel and Seth had amazing chemistry, and it was a pleasure to focus on capturing the energy and Chanel’s reactions during the scene.
While I haven’t shot another episode of this series since it’s something I’m always curious to revisit. Statistically, these episodes have performed better than most of our other sex-focused content, though the split-screen format has drawn mixed feedback.
