She’s Bad..She’s Mean…She’s A Lovin’ Machine!
In November 2020, we released our first collaboration with award-winning director Ricky Greenwood: Sweet Sweet Sally Mae. Sally Mae (Ana Foxxx) is a badass chick on a mission. The film also stars Sizi Sev, Misty Stone, Kira Noir, Noemie Bilas, Scarlit Scandal Julie Kay and Valentina Nappi.
The feature was an homage to ’70s exploitation cinema, especially “Blaxploitation” movies, like Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song or Foxy Brown. The color palette evokes the film of the era with brown undertones and a softer, grittier look.The vintage look is achieved partially in color correction by reducing contrast, faded colors, warm sepia tones, film grain, some softness or blurring, and cooler shadows.
