Hey everyone,
Now that we’ve officially wrapped production, I’m beyond excited to share a first look at The Party’s Over: A Pure Taboo Film, dropping as a full-length release (complete with 4 unique sex scenes) on ADULT TIME this April!
Artist Rendering for the Film Poster
Synopsis:
Lana’s (Hazel Moore) 19th birthday party with her two best friends (Liz Jordan, Hailey Rose) takes a dark turn when her troubled brother (Nick Strokes) and deceptive stepfather (Seth Gamble) join the festivities, unearthing hidden desires and buried secrets. As boundaries blur and tensions rise, Lana is forced to confront disturbing truths about her family. By morning, she’s left alone—haunted by the chilling question of what happened—to herself and to those she thought she knew.
The Inspiration Behind the Story
This project was sparked by one of Pure Taboo’s top 2024 episodes, 4-Player Games, which earned one of the highest satisfaction scores last year. While reviewing its performance, I kept coming back to its thumbnail—it’s a posed photo of two innocent stepdaughters playing video games while their stepfathers loomed in the background. It made me think: What if I took the implied dynamic from this staged image and made it truly evil? Like OG Pure Taboo levels of fucked up—raw, dark, and unpolished? Something that fans of Half His Age: A Teenage Tragedy or The Bad Uncle would truly dig. Getting back to my roots as a writer and director for the studio.
That led me to develop The Party’s Over – a story that explores the psychological manipulation within a toxic family dynamic. This year, I’m particularly interested in diving into Pure Taboo’s signature family roleplay category —starting with this film about a BAD DAD and his stepdaughter, followed later this year by another film about a VERY BAD MOM and her tormented son.
The core of this plot revolves around Lana and her brother, Ethan. Lana is the quintessential nice girl—popular but not the queen bee, a bit of a follower among her friends, and eager to feel more grown up. She’s spent years navigating tension with her mom’s husband, Greg, who plays the role of a cool, relatable friend while, in reality, being a master manipulator who always gets what he wants from women.
Ethan is Greg’s polar opposite—a young man who’s grown up under the toxic influence of men like him, struggling with communication and obsessive sexual feelings, particularly toward his sister’s friends. The story examines both Lana and Ethan’s unraveling within the same household, which was fascinating to explore … especially with this cast!
The Inspiration Behind the Cast
This film brings together some of Pure Taboo’s most established performers alongside rising stars who are making waves in the industry.
Hazel Moore, best known for her unforgettable role in Soaking, absolutely transformed into Lana. This was my first time directing her, and she poured herself into every vulnerable moment. (As we joked on set—only I would meet someone and have their first scene be a sobbing, washing-your-vagina-out-in-the-bathroom sequence!)
Liz Jordan, already a fan favorite, stepped into a particularly challenging role. She let us cover all her tattoos and remove her nose ring to fully embody her conservative, religious character—a choice that made her anal virginity scene even more believable.
Rounding out the female cast, Hailey Rose—who delivered a breakout debut performance in Let Me In —returned for another intense role, as Lana’s more promiscuous friend who gets in over her head.
Brand Ambassador Seth Gamble, Pure Taboo’s ultimate leading man, continues to dominate in his daddy era, and I made sure to take full advantage of his ability to play deeply unsettling characters and motivate his younger co-stars. And fellow Ambassador Lexi Luna, in a cameo, brought her signature energy and enthusiasm, making every moment she was on-screen count, while Nick Strokes tackled his first dramatic performance. His scenes with Seth were a standout moment for me, showing real promise for his future as an actor in the industry.

This film should be Pure Taboo nostalgia —raw, unfiltered, and deeply disturbing. I can’t wait for you all to experience it this Spring. Let me know what you think by replying to this post and keep an eye out for it in our upcoming section!
